Everyone wants to spend a day in paradise and Barbados is truly just that. Journey over to the East Coast of Barbados. Vist Cherry Tree Hill, Morgan Lewis Windmill, Cattle Wash, Bathsheba and St Johns Church.
After a morning of Tropical beauty we make our way across country traveling through the Garrisons Historic area built in 1806 and onto Copacabana on Carlisle Bay. With white sand and turquoise water this beach is a real slice of paradise. At Copacabana you will be provided with a welcome drink along with a beach chair and umbrella .The facility has lockers, washrooms and showers. Although Lunch is not included there is a restaurant and bar that will be happy to serve you on and off the beach.
Carlisle Bay is a marine park with 25 ship wrecks and although not included. Excursions to swim with the turtles and snorkel and one of the shipwrecks can easily be organized at the beach. There are also jet skis and banana boat rides available for hire.
On our way back to the port we will also be traveling through the Garrisons Historic area built in 1806 and through the Capital of
Bridgetown.

Little England was what Barbados was called many years ago while we were still under British rule. It is true that Barbados has been independent since 1966 but there are still remnants of those days gone by. Those days can be best seen in our Gardens and great houses.Huntes Gardens is full of tropical colours and beautiful pathways that ne can meander. Following the gardens we will head off to St. Nicholas Abbey. It is likely the last remaining authentic house of the 17th Century that exists anywhere in the "New World". When this residence was built around 1658. St Nicholas Abbey is a phenomenal sight and along with the house tour and historic video you will also be invited to partake in a bit of Rum Tasting.

Our Harrisons Cave tour is a short 3 hour tour that takes you into the centre of the Island where you will tour the very magnificent Harrisons Cave. To me the whole Island of Barbados is a treasure. From its formation to its history, culture, cuisine & craft every bit of Her is worthy of being called a treasure. Then we make our way up to Cherry Tree Hill for its spectacular views and onto St Nicholas Abbey. St Nicholas Abbey can be correctly categorized a historical treasure of Barbados. This Sugar Plantation house is a 17th century Jacobean Mansion one of only three in this side of the world. There is also an onsite Rum Distillery and a working steam engine that crushes the cane during harvest season.
