The ultimate experience is the pairing of Zipline technology with the beautiful ecosystem created by our island. Your adventure will begin with a scenic ride to our home base. For those interested in experiencing the adrenaline rush of zipping through one of our most beautiful sites, your wish is our command!
Upon arrival at the site, you will be given your safety briefing and outfitted with safety gear that will include your harness system for use on the tour, helmets and gloves. Your tour takes you over eight platforms each manned by our experienced guides who will provide you with information on different areas of the eco-system you are experiencing as well as ensure your safety as you move from platform to platform. You will enjoy beautiful views of our island as well as be informed on the geological formations, which will become apparent.
After your time of fun you will have a short walk back to the base camp where you will enjoy a refreshing drink, and given the opportunity peruse the Tree Top Shop to purchase your branded merchandise.
TOUR TIMES: Tours begin at 9:00am, and the last tour leaves the base at 2:00pm.
Since the Barbados operation has been in existence they have had a proven track record of no injuries. This is a reccord that they will continue to maintain by performing daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections, with the annual inspections being conducted by the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and corresponding logs maintained of all inspections.
The course and gear is inspected daily before visitors are permitted to run the course. All guides are trained in course and gear inspection, as will all future guides, and have extensive and ongoing training that will consist of climbing systems, zip-line operation, rescue techniques and rope work safety. The minimum training requirement for all new guides consist of 80 hours of classroom theory and site performance.
Guides who have not completed the minimum training requirement are not allowed to work with clients except under supervision. Once this training requirement is met, guides are assessed annually to ensure the safety standards are maintained.
Please note we are just a booking agent for the tour and all services are provided by the Zipline Company this tour does involve signing of a waiver once you arive at the Zipline location. In addition to tis offer we are able to supply tis activity within our private tours in which case we will provide the transport.
Requierments
Pregnant women and persons with difficulty walking or using their arms are not permitted for safety reasons.
Enclosed and comfortable footwear is required for this tour (sneakers).
Ladies are not allowed to wear skirts or dresses.
Minimum Age limit: 12 years old.
Maximum weight limit: 250 lbs (must be able to fit into harness)
The last Zipline tour begins at 2 p.m. daily.
All bookings should be made seventy-two hours (72hrs) before the planned tour date to ensure availability.
